Troupe grew up in Detroit, carrying the city with him long after he left. He has worked in healthcare and inside the automotive industry — two worlds where ordinary people carry extraordinary weight every single day. He wrote from both of them.
If I Only Knew began as one man’s story and grew into something larger — a collection of voices shaped by shared environments, real relationships, and the experiences most people live but rarely see written down with this kind of honesty.
